Creating Instagram Business Page For Promotion

Last time I explained all you need to do to set up a Facebook business page so as to be able to run paid promotions that will bring about increased sales for you and for your business to get required visibility. You might have seen a picture or video shared by an account you never followed on Instagram with Sponsored written on it like this

and you've been wandering how your own post for your business too can get to others that are not following you.

In this post, you will learn how to create Instagram business page so as to be able to share contents of your business to the world and to be able to run promotions of those contents.

If you don't have Instagram account

To create an Instagram account from the app:

1. Download the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Once the app is installed, tap  to open it.
3. Tap Sign Up With Email or Phone Number (Android) or Create New Account (iPhone), then enter your email address or phone number (which will require a confirmation code) and tap Next. You can also tap Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
4. If you register with your email or phone number, create a username and password, fill out your profile info and then tap Done. If you register with Facebook, you'll be prompted to log into your Facebook account if you're currently logged out.

To create an Instagram account from a computer:

1. Go to instagram.com.
2. Enter your email address, create a username and password or click Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
3. If you register with an email, click Sign up. If you register with Facebook, you'll be prompted to log into your Facebook account if you're currently logged out.

If you sign up with email, make sure you enter your email address correctly and choose an email address that only you can access. If you log out and forget your password, you'll need to be able to access your email to get back into your Instagram account.

Follow the steps below to turn that account you have created to business account.

Set Up a Business Account on Instagram

This is also for those who already have Instagram account.

On Instagram, you can convert your account to business account to get access to features to help establish a business presence and achieve business goals.

To switch your profile to a business account:

1. Go to your profile and tap 
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Switch to Business Account.
5. We recommend that you connect your business account to a Facebook Page that is associated with your business. This will make it easier to use all of the features available for businesses. At this time, only one Facebook Page can be connected to your business account.
6. Add details such as your business or accounts's category and contact information.
7. Tap Done.

Once you tap done you are ready to make your products or services go completely viral. You will always see the insight of the post. The insight shows the statistics of those who viewed the post and from there you can know how to reach your audience. You will also see the button to promote the post, just like this...
